The best lip results start with an honest look at your lips in rest and in movement. Some lips need gentle volume through the body; some need structure in the border; some benefit most from the lifted, heart-shaped emphasis of the Russian lips technique. Most often, the answer is a combination – and sometimes the honest answer is less than you came in asking for.

We use established hyaluronic acid products (including the premium Juvéderm/Restylane Kysse range for the softest, most natural feel), work with numbing cream, and always book a follow-up. Because everything we inject is hyaluronic acid, results can be adjusted or dissolved at any time.

Your visit, step by step

1. Consultation. We look at your lips at rest and in movement, talk through the result you want, and agree on technique, product and amount – with the exact price fixed before anything begins. A consultation never involves any obligation. 2. Numbing. Numbing cream goes on first, and the fillers themselves contain lidocaine – most people describe the treatment as uncomfortable rather than painful. 3. Injection. The injection itself takes only a few minutes; the whole visit is done in about 30 minutes. 4. Follow-up. We always book a follow-up, so the result can be assessed and fine-tuned once the swelling has settled.

What is in the filler?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body already makes – it binds water and gives skin its bounce. That is what makes the filler biocompatible and fully degradable: the result shows immediately, softens naturally over time, and can be dissolved with Hyalase at any point if you change your mind. We work exclusively with market-leading products from Juvéderm, Restylane, Teosyal, Belotero and Revolax, chosen for the result you are after – from a discreet hydration boost to clear shape and volume.

Choosing 0.5 or 1 ml

The most common question before a first treatment. 0.5 ml gives a clear but discreet improvement and is our recommendation for most first-time patients – you can always build on it later. 1 ml suits you if you already know you want more volume and contour, or are topping up an earlier result. The price difference is small (2 230 versus 2 790 SEK); the difference in expression is decided far more by where the filler is placed than by the amount itself.

Natural results – shape before size

A natural lip result is not about how much filler you get. The upper lip is usually slightly smaller than the lower, the cupid's bow keeps a soft contour, and the lip should meet the skin without sharp edges. When filler works with those proportions, the result looks like your lips on a very good day. Our ground rule is simple: start discreetly, and build at a later visit if you want more. And if the look you have in mind is bigger than your lips can carry gracefully, we will tell you so honestly at the consultation – building volume stepwise over several visits, never everything at once.

Safety – and the honest fine print

Hyaluronic acid fillers are considered very safe: the most common side effects are temporary swelling and occasionally a small bruise, with the final result best judged after about two weeks. Serious complications are rare, but the lips are rich in blood vessels, which is why anatomical knowledge matters. Every treatment is performed by registered nurses and doctors, with ultrasound-guided technique available when needed to map the vessels – and because we only use hyaluronic acid, the result can always be dissolved if something is not as intended. A safety net permanent methods never offer.
